Best Etsy SEO Tools in 2026: Five Tools Compared.

Updated April 2026. Pricing and features verified against each tool's public site.

There are a lot of Etsy SEO tools, and they all claim to help you rank higher. The problem is that most of them do very different things, and the labels are vague enough that you cannot tell which ones you actually need until you have already paid for a month.

This is an honest comparison of the five most relevant Etsy SEO tools in 2026: Stallscore, eRank, Marmalead, EverBee, and Alura. We built Stallscore, so yes, we have a bias. We will be upfront about what each tool does better than ours, and where ours fills a gap the others do not cover.

The big context shift in 2026: Etsy's February algorithm update introduced a title-length penalty (over 70 characters) on mobile search and reinforced the $6 shipping suppression threshold. These two changes made structural listing audits more important than they used to be. Keyword research alone is no longer enough.

Stallscore: per-listing structural audit

Stallscore connects to your Etsy shop via OAuth (read-only by default), pulls every active listing, and scores each one against 10 ranking signals. Those signals include the Feb 2026 title-length penalty, the $6 shipping suppression, mobile thumbnail cut simulation, tag quality, photo count, video presence, description meta snippet, section assignment, materials field usage, and keyword stuffing detection.

The output is a shop-level score plus individual report cards per listing, sorted by severity. On Pro ($9/month), you push fixes back to Etsy with one click. On Free, you get three full audits per month and copy fixes by hand. Lifetime is $149.99 once with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Best for: sellers with existing listings who need to find and fix structural problems dragging their shop down. Especially useful after the Feb 2026 algorithm change if you are not sure which listings are affected.

Not built for: keyword research, product validation, or sales analytics. Stallscore tells you what is wrong with listings you already have. It does not help you decide what to make next.

eRank: keyword research and trends

eRank is the most widely used Etsy SEO tool, and its strength is keyword data. You search a term and get competition metrics, click estimates, trending status, and long-tail variations. The trend explorer catches seasonal demand shifts early, and the shop stats give you a high-level view of your performance.

eRank has a listing audit feature, but it checks one listing at a time (you paste the URL manually) and the criteria have not been updated for the Feb 2026 changes. It still recommends titles up to 140 characters, which is now a ranking liability on mobile.

The free tier is generous with limited daily searches. Pro is $9.99/month for unlimited access. No lifetime option.

Best for: keyword research, seasonal trend spotting, competitive analysis. The strongest tool in this list for the "what should I make next" question.

Limitation: does not bulk-audit existing listings for structural problems. Does not flag the Feb 2026 title penalty or $6 shipping suppression.

Marmalead: keyword brainstorming and SEO grades

Marmalead costs $19/month and focuses on keyword selection. Its signature feature is the "Storm" brainstorming mode that helps you explore keyword clusters around a product idea. It also gives letter grades to listings based on how well the tags and title match buyer search behavior.

The SEO grade is keyword-only. It does not check photo count, shipping cost, section assignment, materials, video, or description structure. It does not flag the Feb 2026 title penalty. At $19/month with no free tier, it is the most expensive tool on this list for the narrowest audit scope.

Best for: sellers who want a structured keyword brainstorming workflow and care more about finding the right phrases than auditing listing structure.

Limitation: no free tier, twice the price of Stallscore Pro, and checks only keyword-level factors. If your listing problem is structural (titles too long, shipping too high, no video), Marmalead will not catch it.

EverBee: sales analytics and product research

EverBee is an analytics tool. Its core value is estimated sales data: you can look at any listing on Etsy and see roughly how many sales it gets per month, what the estimated revenue is, and how the product has trended over time. That makes it powerful for product research and competitive intelligence.

EverBee Growth costs $29.99/month. The free tier gives limited searches. It has a basic keyword tool, but SEO auditing is not its focus. It does not score your listings, does not check structural ranking factors, and does not flag algorithm changes.

Best for: product validation and competitive research. If you want to know whether a niche is worth entering based on real sales data, EverBee is the best tool for that.

Limitation: not an SEO audit tool at all. Will not tell you why your listings are underperforming or what to fix. Most expensive monthly cost on this list at $29.99.

Alura: keyword tools and shop analytics

Alura positions itself as an all-in-one Etsy toolkit. At $14.99/month, it bundles keyword research, a listing review feature, shop analytics, and a Chrome extension for browsing competitor data on Etsy directly.

The listing review is surface-level: it checks tag count, title length, and basic formatting. It does not audit shipping, photos, video, sections, materials, or the Feb 2026 rule changes. The keyword tools are decent but not as deep as eRank's. The analytics are useful but not as detailed as EverBee's.

Best for: sellers who want a single tool that covers a little bit of everything at a mid-range price. Jack of all trades.

Limitation: does not go deep in any one area. The listing audit is basic. No Feb 2026 penalty detection, no shipping suppression check, no bulk audit.

The Feb 2026 question every seller should ask

Before picking a tool, ask one question: does it know about the February 2026 algorithm changes?

The title-length penalty (70 characters on mobile) and the $6 shipping suppression are the two biggest ranking factors that changed in 2026. Any tool that still recommends 140-character titles is giving you advice that will actively hurt your mobile visibility.

As of April 2026, Stallscore is the only tool on this list that checks both of these signals. eRank and Marmalead may update eventually. EverBee and Alura are not audit tools, so it is less relevant to their scope. But right now, if your shop took a traffic hit after February and you do not know why, the tool that checks the new rules is the one you need.

Our recommendation

No single tool does everything. Here is how we would stack them:

For keyword research: use eRank. It has the deepest keyword data, the best trend tools, and the most generous free tier. At $9.99/month for Pro, it is well worth it if keyword selection is your bottleneck.

For fixing existing listings: use Stallscore. It is the only tool that does a bulk structural audit against current 2026 ranking signals. Free to start, $9/month for unlimited audits, $149.99 for lifetime.

For product validation: use EverBee. The sales estimates are the best on the market if you need to know whether a niche is worth entering.

For keyword brainstorming: Marmalead if you like its Storm workflow and do not mind $19/month. eRank covers most of the same ground for half the price.

For a bit of everything: Alura at $14.99/month if you want one tool and are OK with none of them going deep.

The stack most sellers will get the most value from: eRank for keywords + Stallscore to fix existing listings. Together that is $9.99 + $9 = $18.99/month, or $9.99 + $0 if you use Stallscore Free. Both have free tiers you can test before committing.
